Hound of the Week: Meet Nina!

Meet Nina! Nina is a red brindle, red nose pit bull who is around 4 years old. Nina was turned into a local high kill shelter when her owner learned that she was expecting a child - the sad part is, Nina was also expecting, and was quickly put on their euthanasia list. We pulled her on her last day alive, and she is currently in foster care.

Due to her abusive past (she was kicked repeatedly, and thus has sensitivity issues around feet), she will need a patient, loving person who is willing to work with her. She is the perfect age - still active, but no longer a hyperactive puppy. She is excellent with cats, and good with most other dogs. She would prefer to be adopted with her best friend, a female pit bull named Peeps, but it is not required. If you are looking for a gorgeous love bug, please email savecats(a)riseup.net to meet Nina!
