Gentle Fawn Spring Collection

The Gentle Fawn Spring Collection is here and will be on our website later today!

The latest range showcases the best of Gentle Fawn’s Spring 10 collection. Coveted features include a wide assortment of tunics (or itty bitty dresses), modal jersey knit tops, acid washed terry, relaxed textured twill and new-to-the-scene fluid tanks and slouchy tees.

The collection has incorporated some of Gentle Fawn’s signature elements: innovative details in texture, trims, and hardware along with this season’s binge for fringe, icy pastels, and featherweight fabrics. Gentle Fawn Spring/Summer 10 welcomes the pairing of simplicity and polished charm, resulting in a line that is both laid back yet put together. The color palette for this season is a mix of warm fruity shades like Cactus, Bright Coral, and Wineberry, off set with blue cast tones of Amethyst, Seafoam and Blue Fog. Clear and clean pastels position themselves as allies and not essentials (Ice Blue, Heather Blush, and Ivory) and the palette is balanced by inserts of the outdoors (Marine & Shadow Grey). Resulting in a sophisticated story portrayed in thoughtful assortments. Some of the graphical influences are mystical, illustrated, and ditsy floras, while other elements are textured, coated, destroyed, or dirty. Femininity takes a delicate turn to the tone of gauzy, sheer fabrics.

The Highlights Refreshed from last Spring/Summer’s deliciously pop-colored season, Gentle Fawn has extended our offering of casual knits and layering essentials presented in a tight cohesive package.

Spanx Swimsuits

While Clothes Hound doesn't sell bathing suits it is a thought that has crossed my mind, I just think it's a hard sell over the Internet. Don't you want to try your bathing suit on? I am absolutely in love with the idea of Spanx for Swimsuits however.

Hiding your “new mommy” bits at the beach or pool just got easier thanks to the new swimwear line from Spanx. Just like the company’s slenderizing shapewear each bathing suit is designed to slim you down (and hold you in) without making you uncomfortable. The prices are a little steep but I think it's worth it if they make you feel more comfortable in a swimsuit this summer!
