Shecky's is almost here...

I am getting so excited for my first ever Shecky's show!!!! I'll be heading up to Philadelphia very early Wednesday morning to setup and get ready for the big event. I'll be sure to post pictures after the Girl's night out event is over!! If this one goes well you'll be able to find us at other Shecky's events on the east coast.

Things I will never wear...

Fashion trends often make a comeback but typically they're not identical flashbacks. Whew! Repeated trends have been modernized, refreshed and improved the second time round, making them more up to date and stylish.

You've probably seen trends in stores recently that you once said you would never wear again! There are plenty of things I said I would never wear: skinny jeans, high waisted skirts, and hammer pants (harem pants). I have to admit that more than once I have tried and loved a few of these reemerging styles. I can't live without my Free People skinny jeans tucked into my boots in the fall and worn with flats in the summer. We are getting in a great Plaid French Connection Top in September, who knew plaid would come back in? I can't wait to wear it. Have you ever sworn off a trend just to find that you can't wait to wear it?

Celebrating 1 Year in Business

We are celebrating 1 year in business this month! This has been an extremely exciting year, starting the website and then our blog and facebook page. Meeting new designers and establishing a customer base worldwide! I was so surprised when I started receiving international orders! As time progresses we will fine tune our website and will always continue to offer the most up to date designers at reasonable prices. I have another market trip lined up in August where I will be doing all my buying for fall/winter. Thanks so much for helping us make this year a huge success!

Free People 'Lost in Paradise' Dress

The Free People 'Lost in Paradise' Dress is finally in!!! Although I've only received sizes 2 and 4... Last year Free People did a similar body and it sold out everywhere. I am hoping this one will be equally as popular and suspect it already is since I only received 1/2 of my order.

The Shimmery lamé is gorgeously ruched and shaped into the sweetheart-style bodice that tops a lushly patterned A-line velvet skirt in a glamorous, evening-ready dress. Comes with removable, adjustable straps. Side zip with hook-and-eye closure. Rubber gripper at inside top of bodice. Bodice is smocked from sides across back. Border print circles hem. Print at front of skirt does not carry across to back. Approx. length from top center front to hem: 23 1/2".Front of bodice is lined; skirt is unlined.Polyester/spandex bodice, cotton skirt; hand wash.
